On Monday 17th September EMAS are stating their consultation on closing Ambulance stations and moving to a system of hub and stand-by points.  On Friday I received a briefing document and the Consultation document for you to read.

I hope you feel like me that the most important part of the Ambulance Service is not where the vehicles are parked but that they get to incidents as quickly as possible.  EMAS state that this change will help them improve their response time so I hope you will look at these documents with an open mind and come to your own conclusions.
