Last week I, along with my fellow Bassetlaw Lib Dem candidates wrote to both local Bassetlaw papers to thank those who voted for us .  As has been too often the case recently, both pares has somehow not printed a letter from us, so I am reproducing it here.

Dear Sir
Whilst we were disappointed by the County Council Election results in Bassetlaw we had hoped that, like other parts of the County, the voters of Bassetlaw would realise the value of having hard working Liberal Democrats to represent them in County Hall
However we would like to thank those who did vote for us & helped us during the election campaign. We have recruited new members and are looking forward to continue to work hard for the people of Bassetlaw.
